How does the secure invite system work?
Instead of generating a generic Discord link that can be shared on Reddit, users authenticate via a web portal using Discord OAuth. Once they have paid via Stripe, Podis uses the Discord API to add them directly to the server. No links ever change hands.
Do I need to program a Discord bot?
Not at all. The Podis bot comes pre-configured. You literally just click "Add to Server," drag the Podis role above your paid roles, and you're completely finished.
When do I get my payouts?
Your payments go directly to your own Stripe account. Stripe defaults to a 2-day rolling payout window. Podis simply takes a 5% commission during the checkout split. You maintain direct control over your funds.
What happens if a user's subscription fails?
If their card fails, our dunning system emails them to update their payment method. If they don't update it within your grace period (e.g., 3 days), Podis automatically drops their paid role, reverting them to your free tier.
